Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Monday said that Holy Quran teaching will be made compulsory in all schools. While talking to journalists in Abbottabad, he said, "It is court's discretion to announce verdict in Panama leaks case as sit-ins went in vain."

He questioned that if jurisdiction to de-seat the Prime Minister lies with Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan then what apex court has to do.

He said, "The federal cabinet had approved Hajj and Umrah Operation Act and Saudi government had withdrawn Hajj tax worth 2,000 Riyal."

"All projects that KPK CM is taking credit of were already part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)," said federal minister.

He informed that, "Work has begun on new Hajj policy."

"All provincial ministers have consented on uniform prayer timings system and new calendar will be crafted in accordance with prayer timing of different cities," quoted the minister.
